Biography
Background
Dr. Nora Alarifi Pharaon, a licensed counseling psychologist in New York State, is the founder and president of Pharaon Consulting Group, Inc., a US-based and an international consulting firm established in February of 1997.
Education
Dr. Pharaon earned her doctorate and master’s degree in counseling psychology at Teacher’s College, Columbia University. She also holds a master’s degree in Education as well as a bachelor’s in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut.

Dr. Pharaon has spent her career helping individuals develop more productive, satisfying and creative personal, as well as professional lives.
Private Practice
As a private practitioner in Manhattan, Dr. Pharaon provides a variety of psychological services to members of the New York community. Dr. Pharaon offers individual, couple, and group psychotherapy; she also performs psychological evaluations for bilingual adults, youth and children of Arab descent.
Business Consulting
In addition, Dr. Pharaon assists companies in achieving key business objectives by working from the "inside-out," essentially, promoting individual growth to effect organizational transformation.

Dr. Pharaon has rich, extensive experience of providing psychological and educational services to the community at large living in New York area and most particularly the Arab American community. Over the past ten years, she has helped hundreds of individuals improve their self-development skills and maximize the quality of their lives.
Dr. Pharaon has expanded her psychology practice internationally over the past seven years. Since 1997, Dr. Pharaon has extensively traveled to Saudi Arabia where she has conducted self improvement workshops targeting women’s groups in that area. These training programs, focusing on issues deemed vital to Arab women’s social and psychological development, were created and tailored to meet their unique needs.
